Intas MELOMEX (meloxicam) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used in large animals and livestock to manage pain, inflammation, and fever associated with musculoskeletal disorders, mastitis, and post-surgical recovery.

INDICATIONS

• Musculoskeletal Pain & Swelling: Alleviates joint pain, arthritis, and lameness.
• Inflammatory Conditions: Used to reduce swelling and inflammation in conditions like acute mastitis and other tissue injuries.
• Supportive Therapy: Administered alongside primary treatments to manage fever and stress during respiratory infections, diarrhea, and other infectious episodes.
• Post-Operative Care: Used for pain management following veterinary procedures such as dehorning and castration.

ADMINISTRATION

• Species: Administered to large animals, including cows, bulls, buffaloes, horses, camels, pigs, goats, and sheep.
• Dosage: Given orally; the dose is 1 bolus per 250 kg of body weight once daily.
