Intas UNIZIF (flunixin meglumine) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) primarily used in cattle, horses, camels, pigs, sheep, and goats to manage pain, inflammation, and fever.
INDICATIONS
- Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD): Controls fever associated with respiratory infections in cattle.
- Acute Bovine Mastitis: Used to treat inflammation and fever linked to mastitis in cattle.
- Endotoxemia: Controls inflammation in livestock suffering from endotoxemia.
- Musculoskeletal Disorders: Effective for reducing inflammation and pain in horses and livestock, including lameness or injury.
- Colic in Horses: Alleviates visceral pain associated with colic.
- Metritis: Used for the treatment of uterine infections in cows and livestock.
- General Pyrexia: Controls fever across various animal species.
ADMINISTRATION
- Cattle, Camel, Sheep, and Goat: 1 to 2 mg per 45 kg of body weight (administered via slow intravenous or intramuscular route).
- Horse: 1 mg per 45 kg of body weight (administered via slow intravenous injection)
