Intas NEOMEC tablets (ivermectin) are an endectocide indicated for the prevention and treatment of internal and external parasitic infestations in dogs and cats.

INDICATIONS

• Mite Control: Treats sarcoptic and demodectic mange, as well as ear mites.
• Heartworm Prevention: Prevents heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis larvae.
• Internal Parasites: Treats common gastrointestinal worms such as roundworms and hookworms.
• External Parasites: Used to control and eliminate certain types of lice infestations.

ADMINISTRATION

• Breed Sensitivities: Ivermectin can be highly toxic to certain breeds, especially Rough Collies, Smooth Collies, Shetland Sheepdog (Shelties), and Australian Shepherds, requiring extreme caution or alternative medications.
• Dosing: The dosage must be precisely calculated by weight to avoid severe toxicity.
• Administration Route: Can be taken orally or crushed and mixed into food.
