Intas NEOZIDE bolus (oxclozanide) is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic and fasciolicide formulated for ruminants such as cattle, buffalo, sheep, and goats. It is used to treat parasitic worm infestations.
INDICATIONS
- Fasciolosis (Liver Flukes): Eliminates all types of flukes, including liver flukes, rumen flukes, and nasal schistosomiasis.
- Amphistomiasis: Treats infections caused by Amphistome parasites.
- Nematodes (Roundworms): Effective against both mature and immature nematodes in the gastrointestinal tract.
- Monieziasis: Treats tapeworm (Moniezia) infestations.
ADMINISTRATION
- Route: Oral administration
- Dosage: Common dosage recommendation is 1 bolus per 100 kg body weight for Cattle/Buffalo.
- Safety: Reported to be safe for use in young and pregnant animals.
Important Safety Information
- Overdosage may cause toxic signs such as slight depression, inappetance, and softening of feces.
- Withdrawal periods (meat 28 days, milk 7 days) should be observed post-administration.
