Intas FLUMITAS (flumethrin) is a topical ectoparasiticide used for the control and management of ectoparasites, including all tick species and horn flies.

INDICATIONS

• Tick Control: Manages and controls various tick species on livestock. It is particularly effective against strains that have developed resistance to carbamates, amidines, chlorinated hydrocarbons, organophosphates, and organochlorine insecticides.
• Fly Management: Reduces infestations of biting flies like Haematobia exigua (horn flies). It helps alleviate fly stress, which can cause weight loss or reduced milk yield in dairy cattle.

ADMINISTRATION

• Target Animals: Primarily formulated for large livestock (cattle, sheep, and goats), though it is sometimes applied to other animals like horses or dogs.
• Dosage: Applied topically down the animal’s mid-line (from the front of the shoulder to the tail setting) at a dose rate of 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight.
