Intas INTAMULIN-10 powder (tiamulin hydrogen fumarate) is an antibiotic used in veterinary medicine specifically for swine and poultry to treat gastrointestinal and respiratory infections.

INDICATIONS

• Swine Dysentery: Treatment and prevention of swine dysentery caused by Brachyspira hyodysenteriae.
• Colonic Spirochaetosis: Treatment of colitis (Porcine Colonic Spirochaetosis) caused by Brachyspira pilosicoli.
• Enzootic Pneumonia: Treatment of enzootic pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae.
• Ileitis: Treatment of Porcine Proliferative Enteropathy (Ileitis) caused by Lawsonia intracellularis.

ADMINISTRATION

• Route: Typically administered via drinking water or mixed in feed
• Compatibility Warning: Swine and poultry should not receive feeds containing polyether ionophores (such as monensin, narasin, or salinomycin) during or for at least 7 days before or after treatment with tiamulin, as this can cause severe growth depression or death.
• Withdrawal Period: Poultry typically have a 3-day withdrawal period for meat and zero for eggs. Swine typically have a 7-day withdrawal period for meat.
