Intas IMIZET (imidocarb) is an antiparasitic agent used in veterinary medicine to treat and prevent vector-borne hemoprotozoan diseases in livestock and companion animals.
INDICATIONS
- Dogs: Used for the treatment and control of Babesiosis, Ehrlichiosis, and Hepatozoon canis infections.
- Cattle: Used for the treatment and prophylaxis of Babesiosis (such as Redwater fever) and Anaplasmosis.
- Horses & Donkeys: Indicated for the treatment and prevention of Babesiosis,
ADMINISTRATION
- Route of Administration: IMIZET is given via subcutaneous or intramuscular injection. It must not be administered intravenously.
- Contraindications: Use with caution in animals with impaired liver, lung, or kidney function. Safety has not been thoroughly established in pregnant or lactating animals.
- Drug Interactions: Do not administer alongside cholinesterase-inhibiting drugs, pesticides, or chemicals.
