INJECTIONS

  • Respiratory Diseases: Treatment of pneumonia and haemorrhagic septicemia.
  • Mastitis: Treatment of coliform mastitis and other mammary gland infections.
  • Reproductive/Systemic Infections: Bacterial septicemia and Mastitis-Metritis-Agalactia (MMA) syndrome in pigs.
  • Gastrointestinal Infections: Calf scours and bacterial diarrhea.
  • Foot/Skin Infections: Digital dermatitis, infectious bulbar necrosis, and acute interdigital necrobacillosis (foot rot).
  • Other Species-Specific Uses: Meningitis, arthritis, and epidermitis in pigs, and respiratory diseases caused by Streptococcus equi spp. in horses.

ADMINISTRATION

  • Route: Administered via intramuscular (IM) or intravenous (IV) routes.
  • Dose (Large Animals): 1 mg/kg body weight for cattle, buffalo, and horses.
  • Dose (Small Animals): 2 mg/kg body weight for sheep, goats, and pigs.
  • Duration: Usually administered daily for 3 to 5 days, depending on the severity of the infection.
