INDICATIONS
- Induction of Ovulation: Administered to mares to induce the ovulation of mature ovarian follicles. This is used to optimize the timing of breeding or artificial insemination.
- Cryptorchidism Diagnosis: Used in the hCG stimulation test to diagnose retained testicles (cryptorchidism) by measuring an increase in circulating testosterone.
- Cystic Ovaries: Used for the treatment of nymphomania (frequent or constant heat) associated with follicular ovarian cysts.
- Improvement of Conception Rate: Administered to heifers or repeat-breeder cows at the time of artificial insemination or mating.
- Induction of Ovulation: Sometimes used off-label in queens (cats) or bitches (dogs) during proestrus or estrus to induce ovulation.
- Male Hypogonadism/Libido: Used to stimulate testosterone production and improve libido in male dogs
ADMINISTRATION
