Intas INTACEF (ceftriaxone) is a broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections in pets and large animals.

INDICATIONS

• Small Animals (Dogs & Cats): Used for soft tissue infections, meningitis, respiratory/urinary tract issues, and pre- or post-surgical prophylaxis.
• Large Animals (Cattle, Buffalo, Horses, Goats): Used for conditions like mastitis, hemorrhagic septicemia, bronchopneumonia, and endometritis.

ADMINISTRATION

• Route: It must be given by intramuscular (I.M.) or intravenous (I.V.) injection under veterinary supervision.
• Common Dosage (Pets): 15–25 mg/kg body weight daily for 3–5 days.
• Common Dosage (Large Animals): 5–10 mg/kg body weight
